Ladybug Stampin: YouTube Live

Ok that is a funny post title!

I went on YouTube live to create two cards, but it started out kinda rough. I had scheduled the live, then when I tried to go on from my phone I couldn't. And all my friends were waiting on me. Needless to say I am YouTube Schedule Live challenged. And will be getting some info so that does not happen again!

In the end they found me, and we had a good laugh.

The first card I created was for Father's Day, using the new A Good Man stamp set. I went for a minimal look and didn't color image.

I did that, because my second card took a little longer. I have not paper pieced in a long time. But as I was trying to come up with an idea, it just came to me.

For the technique, I did paper piecing. Something old but wanted to show.

The flower, boots, mane on tail, and head are all paper pieced to give the image some dimension.

Cow’s it going? Card Measurements
Whisper White – 5 ½ x 8 ½ scored at 4 ¼, 5 x 3 3/4 (I did use a larger piece to stamp on then trimmed 6 x 4), 1 5/8 x 5/8, 3 x 3, 2 ¾ x 4
Daffodil Delight – 4 x 5 ¼, 2 x 4 for flowers

Father’s Day Card Measurements –
Night of Navy – 4 ¼ x 11 scored at 5 ½
Whisper White – 4 1/8 x 5 3/8 (2), 2 ½ x 3, ½ x 2 ¼, 1 ¼ x 1 ¼
Balmy Blue – 5/8 x 2 3/8, 1 3/8 x 1 3/8
Crumb Cake – 3 x 3 ½
DSP – Come Sail Away – 4 x 5 ¼
