Graceful Sun Catcher

Hello lovelies!! 

Did you know that you don't just have to make cards with stamps? I love to create scrapbook layouts and even home decor. 

The Graceful Glass Designer vellum looks lovely on a card, or even a 3d project.  But it makes an awesome sun catcher.


Mine is a pretty simple design, but I didn't want it to be to complicated.  This was for me more than my peeps....haha


I can see this in a frame, which I might end up creating later.  But for now, my little sun catcher will be hanging in my craft room window.


Simple and short post, can you believe it??!! LOL

Directions:

Pick Your printed vellum
Color as needed, your choice
Adhere the vellum to window sheet, with little snail adhesive on each corner.
Punch holes in corner, using the 1/8" Hold Punch
Thread cord through, tying knots to secure.

Measurements, products listed below.

Window Sheets - 7 x 7, you will need two of these
Gracefull Glass - 6 x 6, your choice
Cord - 11"

A Country Snowman Bag

This must be hands down, one of my top favorite bags! 


This snowman on the bag fits in with my Christmas décor, including the balmy blue color. Fits with my farmhouse décor, includig the burlap ribbon.

 I am not a traditionalist when it comes to Christmas, as in I don’t use a lot of Santa Clause in my wrapping gifts.  I know I know, your shouting “What, Why”??

Trust me I like Santa too, right there with the Easter Bunny….it’s ok but I prefer other decorations.


The wink of stella adds a touch of whimsy to the bag, it makes me think of how the snow glistens once on the ground.  And then I wake up and want my summer back…haha!


I'm not a humbug....as Christmas is my favorite holiday, I just am not a fan of long term snow, expect on the television.

Therefore this bag is perfect for my snow fix, especially in July with temperatures above 100.

Measurements (Products used at end of post):

Whisper White – 8 ½ x 8
Scored @ Short Side 1, 3 ½, 4 ½, 7
    Long Side 1, then at 7 but only to the 1 inch line from short side
Balmy Blue – 7 3/8 x 2 3/8
Soft Suede scrap 2 x 2 for snowflake
