Let Hope be the Anchor

I wanted to create a quick card showcasing the Come Sail with Me suite, as it is the inspiration for this months craft kit. This set had to be created for the men in your life. Isn't it just perfect?!

The blues, browns, and grey are accompanied by a burst of color with the red. I think this card would be great for a pastors appreciation card. Or someone who has helped you spiritually.

I used the High Seas embossing folder as a base for the diecuts and sentiment. I added dimensionals to the sentiment and compass, while using adhesive for the others to attach to the "waves".

I edged the DSP, waves and cardbase with Soft Suede and a stampin sponge. As well as the sentiment with Cherry Cobbler.

I tried to tie some kind of boat know through the hole of the anchor, not sure if I accomplished it but it works for the card.

Whisper White - 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, scored @ - 4 x 3 1/2 for die cuts
Night of Navy - 4 1/8 x 5 3/8
Soft Suede - 2 x 2 3/4 for die cuts
DSP - 4 x 5 1/4
Pool Party - 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 for embossing
