1st Birthday Card

I took a break in the holiday card/project making to create this pink and green birthday card.  I received a text on Thursday from my future DIL, who needed it on Saturday.  Normally that would be ok, but I had a prior engagement on Friday so I had to think fast.

When I think of girl colors I automatically go to pink, but I wanted another color to compliment.  In a rush I picked out Lemon Lime Twist.

It needed to be sparkly as well, don't all girls love all things sparkly.

I used a piece of Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer paper, and my Light Pink Pirouette Stampin' Blends Marker to create a pink 1.

Card Recipe:

Powder Pink, Lemon Lime Twist, Whisper White cardstock
Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper
Layer Circles Framelits
Large Numbers Framelits Dies
Number Of Years Photopolymer Stamp Set
Dimensionals
Pink Pirouette Light Stampin' Blends Marker
White Embossing Powder
Heat Tool

Memories & More...Not Just for Scrapbooks

This is day 7 of my 31 for December, and I wanted to show how you could make a couple of quick cards using the Memories & More card packs.  Specifically the Merry Little Christmas M&M card pack set, currently in the Holiday catalog.

I made two simple but cute Christmas cards, and if you are short on time or just want to make something quick, this is a great way to achieve that.

The only extra supplies I used was cardstock for the bases, and mat.  Dimensionals, Whisper White Bakers Twine, Garden Green Classic Stampin' Pad, and Carols of Christmas stamp set.

I cut down the red/white striped card from the M&M set, to 4 x 5 1/4.  Cut the sentiment from another card, added some dimensionals for height and a little bakers twine. Placed on top of a Whisper White card base.  Finished!!! Now wasn't that quick and easy peasy?

For this one, I used some of the cardstock stickers from the pack and added to the already stamped ornament images.  Stamped the "Deck the Halls" sentiment from Carols of Christmas, placed on top of a Lemon Lime Twist mat, and Cherry Cobbler card base.

There are many possibilities using this Memories & More card pack, plus you can use them for your scrapbooks as well.

If you would like to purchase, head over to my online store, don't forget to use this months Hostess Code.  And if you spend over $50, you will receive the Gold Striped Bag package, which is this months, Customer Monthly Coupon.

Quilted Christmas Star

I am sad that this bundle will be retiring at the end of the 2017 Holiday catalog, it's such a versatile set.  Get yours before they are gone, as I suspect this will be high on eBay in the years to come.

The Christmas Quilt Bundle is a stamp and die set, that will make not just lovely Christmas cards, but I see Birthday, Thinking of You, Sympathy, Thank You and Just Because.

The dies alone in this set could make so many cards, Google quilts!!!

When I decided to add a sentiment, I really had to think what did I want.  As I wanted to use the dies in some way.  So I cut the star die twice, stamped one and embossed the other.

Than I added a little holly and berry decoration for a Christmas card.

I cut pieces, just in a real quilt to make the mat that the star would be placed on.  I wanted to have you look at it and want to cover up with it on a cold winter's night.

I made blocks for each corner, and then strips in between them using the Quilted Christmas Designer Series Paper.  Which is also retiring, and I did purchase more of.

Card Recipe:

Real Red Cardstock - card base
Garden Green - 1st Mat
Whisper White - 2nd Mat, Mat for quilted pieces, and die cut stars.
Quilted Christmas DSP - Quilted pieces, the holly and berry are cut from scraps of the DSP. Just like a real quilt.
Real Red Stampin' Classic Pad - sentiment
Multipurpose Glue - this worked best in order to place DSP pieces.
Dimensionals to lift up the Star
Stampin' Trimmer

Rejoice This Christmas

One of my favorite items to collect at Christmas is Nativity Scenes.  The colors in the card below reflect my Christmas Tree.  And what is better, this time of year, than Rejoicing on the Birth of our Lord and Savior.

Night in Bethlehem was the first stamp set I purchased from the 2017 Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog.  And I will keep this one in my craft room for years to come.

Just like my tree has different textures, my card needed to reflect the same. I add the texture on my card by adding different types of Stampin' Up! ribbons.

The buildings on the card mat are inked in versamark, then stamped on cardstock.

Look at your surroundings when needing inspiration.  Even in your Christmas tree!!

Card Recipe:

Night In Bethlehem Stamp Set
Whisper White & Kraft Cardstock
Ribbons - Gold Mini Sequin Trim, Silver 1/8" Ribbon, Burlap Ribbon, Very Vanilla 1/2" Lace Trim
Champagne Foil
White Embossing Powder
Layering Oval Framelits
VersaMark

Pillow Box Gift Card Holder or Treat Box

Do you like giving gift cards or treats to friends, co-workers or family? Then the Pillow boxes made with the Trim Your Stocking Thinlet Dies are a great way to give them.

My tree is creams, gold and a little shabby chic so I decided to create some pillow boxes to put under the tree, cause who just likes being handed a gift card.  Dress that baby up!!!

I have two versions for you today, the first one is all dolled up with twine, a doily, some champagne foil and a sweet sentiment.

The second one has a view in to the inside of what is being given to the recipient. But it's still a little dressed up with some more champagne foil and pearls (I am true southerner lol)  And yes I stamped on Stampin' Up! Acetate sheets.  I just went really slow and used my embossing buddy liberally.

 Look at all those kisses!!!!

Card Recipe:

Kraft Cardstock (this is in the holiday catalog) cut twice per pillow box.
Leaf Punch
Champagne Foil
Very Vanilla Cardstock - for the sentiment

Pretty Pines Christmas Card

What is better than the smell of fresh pines, as the snow blankets the forest...or in my case "woods'.  See I am from the the South, and we call the group of pine trees "the woods".  But let's get back to the smell of pines.

While I do have an artificial Christmas tree, I love to have pines in the house in some form.  This year it will be through candles which will make me think of snow and pine trees.

This card from those thoughts, a pine bough with pretty ribbon handing from barn wood.

The Pretty Pines Thinlet dies is one of my favorite in the current Stampin' Up! Annual catalog.  I have made some of my Christmas cards from this set the last two years.

I paired this with a sentiment from the Snowflake Sentiments Stamp set. I know right, I was just looking for a sentiment and then realized the name hahaha.

The sentiment is embossed with ink and clear embossing powder.  I wanted it to be subtle like it was part of the barn wood.

Card Recipe:

Pretty Pines Thinlet Dies
Snowflake Sentiments
Wood Textures Designer Series Paper
Crumb Cake Cardstock for the card base
Garden Green, Old Olive, Lemon Lime Twist cardstock for pines
Early Espresso cardstock for pinecones
Cherry Cobbler cardstock for the berries
Cherry Cobbler 1/4" Double Stitched Ribbon
Lemon Lime Twist Classic Stampin' Pad
Clear Embossing Powder
Embossing buddy
Heat Tool
Big Shot
Magnetic Platform

I would love to see your creations using this lovely set.

CHANGE IN STAMPARATUS RESERVATION WINDOWS

The results are in! The first Stamparatus reservation window reached its maximum number of reservations in just 15 minutes, which provided us with some very important information: You LOVE this new stamping tool! We couldn’t be more thrilled; in fact, your response was so amazing that we’ve decided to make some important adjustments to the reservation process.

As was previously announced, the second reservation window will remain open from December 5–30; however, during this reservation period we will take as many orders as we receive (yay!) and not close the window until December 30. So whether the total number of reservations is 100 or 100,000, the window will stay open!

Please note the following changes:

Beginning March 19, we will ship Stamparatuses in the order the reservations were received (first in, first out) and continue through the next few months and beyond as product arrives in our warehouse. Because shipment dates are based on manufacturing lead times, not all of the reservations made during the December 5–30 window will ship on March 19 (as was previously announced).

Limit ONE per Customer

Because we are not limiting the maximum number of reservations for the second window, we will not offer a third window. This is the last chance for you and your customers to reserve a Stamparatus before it becomes available in the 2018-2019 annual catalog.

Please note what has not changed:

The reservation window will open at 2:00 PM (MT) on December 5.

We can’t wait for you to get your hands on your very own Stamparatus and look forward to seeing the projects you’ll make with this incredible stamping tool. Look for additional details on the Stamparatus product page as the second reservation window approaches.
