Sparkling Cider Bottle Box

I was looking for some gift and craft fair ideas, and came across this bottle of Sparkling Cider. But then I had to come up with a box for them.  I scanned the internet and found a similar one but it had no details so I broke out my copy paper and designed a box.

I love copy paper for creating 3-d projects, as it takes me several times to get it all the right measurements.  This one I will say though was fairly simple.

I would love to see your versions of this box!!!

Recipe for the above:
1 – 8 ½ x 11 Cardstock Whisper White
4 – 6 x 2 ¼ Merry Little Christmas DSP
1 – 3 ¼ x 2 Old Olive
1 – 3 ¼ x 2 Vellum
1 – 16” piece of Jute Twine
1 Green Sprig
Stampin’ Up! Basic Black Archival Ink
Embossing Buddy
Clear Embossing Powder

On the long side of your paper (11” side) score at 2 ½, 5, 7 ½, & 10
On the short side of your paper (8 ½” side) score at 2 ¼ and 7 ½

I have a YouTube on how to put this together, below.

And during the month of October, Stampin’ Up! is having a Buy 3 Get 1 FREE on most Designer Series Pack & Hostess Special.

Also, when you purchase $50 (at one time), you will a FREE package of our new Acetate Card Boxes in November from me!!!!  Please make sure you use the October Hostess Code – 4TGPFQYW

Thank you for stopping by, Hugs from the Bug!!!

Embossed Silhouette

I am part of a group of paper crafters that are on a Periscope Crafting Train every Friday Night.  I try to show a technique during these, while showcasing Stampin’ Up! product. Sometimes I know what I want to show and other times I am running on empty due to life.

***Periscope – Live Streaming App, that you can now view on your computer.***

This past Friday, was one of the latter so I had to come up with a quick card yet effective.  This has worked for me, maybe a few times in the past.  But this week I delivered a great card, or so I was told.

I was inspired by a piece of art I found on Pinterest, that had nothing to do with paper crafting. I love to look through the web, find a piece of art, a print from a rug or clothing, and many other things.
So I digress, on to the card….I love this silhouette, which is embossed with silver on a wood grain background.

I even had to create another card to finish off the DSP (Designer Series Paper), and some more embossing.

The recipe, and supplies I used:

First Card –
8 ½ x 5 ½ Early Espresso Cardstock, Scored at 4 ¼
5 ¼ x 4 Whisper White Cardstock, this will be for inside of card
5 ¼ x 4 Silver Foil Sheet
5 1/8 x 3 7/8 Wood Textures DSP Paper Stack 6 x 6
Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder
Colorful Seasons Stamp Set (used the larger tree limb, 3 large flowers, “Just Breath” sentiment)
Embossing Buddy
Heat Tool
Stampin’ Trimmer
Bone Folder
Fast Fuse Adhesive
Block H, C, B

Second Card -
8 ½ x 5 ½ Early Espresso Cardstock, Scored at 4 ¼
5 3/8 x 4 1/8 Silver Foil Sheet
2 x 5 3/8 Wood Textures DSP Paper Stack (using the piece cut from same 6 x 6 piece above)
Beautiful Bouquet Stamp Set (tree limb, bunch of flowers, and sentiment)
Silver 1/8” Ribbon
1 1/2” Circle Punch
1 3/8” Circle Punch
Embossing Buddy
Heat Tool
Stampin’ Trimmer
Bone Folder
Fast Fuse Adhesive
Block H, C, B

Check out my new Facebook Page, Ladybug Stampin Spot, where all crafters come together and have a wee bit of fun.

Check out the current catalogs here.

Don’t’ forget to sign up for Paper Pumpkin, prior to October 10th.  The next two months will compliment each other to make some wondering items for Christmas.

Thank You for visiting, and I hope you felt inspired to go create something from the heart.

Let's Celebrate Your Day!!!

I love creating with Stampin' Up! product, so I decided to make a gift box for some of team that had promoted.   The gift box contains a Wink of Stella!!!!  I did first search the internet and Pinterest for a box template to use but could not find one.  Therefore I had to create one, at first I was a little scared to try but I buckled down and figured out the dimension and style I wanted.

And do you know, it was not that hard.  Yes it took some time, but I put my math and measurement skills together and came up with this box.

Isn't it cute!!!

Here is the recipe for the gift box:

1 - 8 1/4 x 7 5/16 Cardstock (I used the 2017-2019 In Colors)

2 - 3/4 x 6 1/2 Same DSP
2 - 5/8 x 6 1/2 Same DSP
Scrap Pieces of cardstock (use the cut pieces from above)

1/2" Circle Punch
Pretty Label Punch
Simply Scored Scoring Tool
Stamping Sponges
Clear Block D
Paper Snips
Bone Folder
Rhinestone Basic Jewels
Snail Adhesive
Mini Glue Dots

Misc. Non Stampin' Up! Item - Magnets (click here for purchase link)

Scoring Dimensions -

Stampin' Style DIY Picture Frame

I love when my crafting worlds collide and turn out something beautiful.  I have been crafting with all mediums for as long as I can remember. I have been stamping, creating cards and scrapbooks since my early 30's.  And while I love being a cardmaker, I love other crafts as well.  I have made these picture frames in the past, and thought let's join the two!!

So I hopped on Periscope and created this picture frame with help from my crafty/stamping friends.
You no longer need an app to watch Periscope, you can join me at, you will need to set up an account.  Then you can watch me from your phone, tablet or personal computer.

I showed how you can stamp, and emboss on wood.  Add some other elements/accessories, add a picture and bam you have a DIY frame.

Thanks to Nikki for suggesting the "blue jean" flower, which I made out of Dapper Demin Cardstock.

I have a video on YouTube explaining the process, and as soon as I get some more wood, I will go step by step. It is pretty self explanatory though, just need to add your own vision.

Thanks for stopping by, and I would love to see what you create.  Post pictures in my Facebook Group - Ladybug Stampin Spot.

If you would like any products that I used please click on the link to my online store.  If you have any questions, please ask.

Coffee Cafe - Love U A Latte

My oldest grandson, Chandler, loves Starbucks and I love him!!  So a page was created from the love of both.  The colors in this suite worked out great for us both.  Dark colors for him, with a hint of blue for me

Starbucks gift cards have become a tradition for me to give him at Christmas.  So when I saw this suite, I knew I was going to create a scrapbook page. However, his birthday is coming up soon and even though he already has his birthday gift...we can always have Starbucks for an extra treat.

There is no picture on this page yet, as I will take one next week when we make our way to the coffee place of his dreams...literally!!!

For the page title, I used the Stampin' Up! Large Letter Framelits for the "U A Latte", and the "love" from the Sunshine Wishes Thinlets.  I went back and forth with the "A", leave it or keep it.  This was due to the title placement.  But what I love about scrapbooking is, it's your page!!  It's art!! You can have your title on one, two or even three lines.

I took the coffee bean stamp and inked it up in Early Espresso, then added a bottom border to my journaling card.

And keeping the rule of three, I added three different coffee cups to the side.   I have hot cocoa in one of them, as I don't drink cofee....was that a "WHAT?!" I just heard?  Yes, I do not drink coffee but I love tea, it's close enough.

Under the picture mat, I used three different ribbons.  This is what I love about Stampin' Up!  Not only is it quality product, everything COORDINATES!!! Including the accessories, like the Corrugated Elements.  On this page, I used the heart and tag on my cups.

Back to the ribbons, I used the 3/8" Burlap Ribbon, 3/8" Shimmer Ribbon in Pool Party, and the 3/8" Classic Weave Ribbon in Crumb Cake.

I also used Whisper White, Pear Pizzaz, Soft Sky, Soft Suede, and Early Espresso Cardstock to complete the elements and photo mats.

This suite was gorgeous to use, and if you would love to play with it too send me a note.  Or follow the link at the top to my online store, but fair warning U will Love a Latte!!!

When placing an order don't forget to use this months Hostess Code.

Oh I almost forgot!!!!
During the month of July, Stampin' Up! has a new Joining special.  'Cause it's Christmas in July!!!!

The Christmas in July promotion makes it easier than ever to sign up as a demonstrator! You will receive a FREE Essentials Gift Pack including Paper Snips, SNAIL Adhesive, Grid Paper, two D Blocks (one for them and one for a stamping friend!), and a Bone Folder. That’s an added value of $52 US/$68 CAN! And to give you a perk of being a demonstrator, they will also include the Carols of Christmas Stamp Set from the holiday catalog for FREE ($20 US)! With so many basic items provided, you’ll be able to get your brand, new business off to a fast start—and spend those Starter Kit dollars on things like their favorite stamp sets and accessories!

Stampin Dreams Blog Hop - Carryover Stamp Set Jar of Love

Welcome to the Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop for June 2017. This months theme is Carryover Items from the previous catalogs. You are currently visiting Denise from the USA. I hope you enjoy my card showcasing the carry over item Jars of Love Stamp and Die Set.

I love Ball jars, I have several sizes and colors.  I have even painted and etched a few.  I use them to put misc items in, I have decorated my house and craft room with them.  One thing I love to put in them is flowers.  So the card below was inspired from my love of Ball jars.  This was my favorite new set last year and I am so thankful Stampin' Up! carried it over.

I may have cheated a little by adding some flowers from the new stamp and die set Beautiful Bouquet, but I wanted a variety of flowers.

I added a little Wink of Stella to make the flowers glisten.

The colors I choose came from a picture I seen, and I rarely use all blues together for flowers.

Recipe for card:

Jar of Love Stamp Set
Everyday Jar Framelits Dies
Beautiful Bouquet Stamp Set
Bouquet Bunch Framelits Dies
Whisper White, Tempting Turquoise, Bermuda Bay, Night of Navy,
Pool Party, & Crumb Cake Cardstock
Tempting Turquoise, Bermuda Bay, Night of Navy, Pool Party,
Sahara Sand,  & Early Espresso Stampin' Ink
Wink of Stella
Very Vanilla 1/2" Lace Trim

I hope the cards you've seen here on my blog, and the others, today have inspired you & brightened your day. You are currently visiting the bug!!!  Please see the list below & hop through all of the people on the list to see all our projects.
