For me Mother's Day is emotional for alot of reasons. In the past I would try to find happiness in the Lord, but I would still get down. For one, my biological mother left my family when I was around 2 years old. I have no biological children on earth, but precious babies waiting on me in Heaven. But recently this has changed.
My husband and I have met and married almost two years ago and I was blessed to become a party of his family, which included his momma. She is a lovely, Godly woman! So for the last two years, I have had wonderful mother's days. Last year I made her the flower in a box and she loved the 3d effects. That made my heart smile, so this year I wanted to create another 3d card. Well that didnt happen, but what I made instead she LOVED!! Below are the instructions and products used.

Instructions:
Fold in half the the Basic Black 11 x 4 1/4 cardstock, which will result in a 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 card base. Adhere the Very Vanilla 5 3/8 x 4 1/8 cardstock on top of the base using Tombow glue (or your favorite adhesive). Using the Washi stamp, ink up in versa mark and stamp on the Very Vanilla 1 3/8 x 5 3/8 cardstock strip, every 1/2 inch. I did this to resemble a ribbon effect, that SU! used to carry. Adhere this piece to the Basic Black 1 1/2 x 5 3/8 mat.
Using the sentiment from the April Paper Pumpkin kit, stamp on the Very Vanilla Cardstock 2 3/8 x 1 7/8 piece. Adhere this to the 2 1/2 x 2 Basic Black Cardstock. Add dimensionals and adhere to the middle of the stamped Very Vanilla strip.
Using the Botanical Builder framelits die, pick out the flowers as shown above. I die-cutted one set in Basic Black and another in Very Vanilla. Please refer to card picture on how I put the flowers together or you can view my
YouTube video, also. After I adhered the flowers I added some Basic Black Candy Dots to the vanilla pieces and pearl accents to the black. I did add some tiny pearls to the sentiment, but this is not needed.
I am very happy and pleased the way this card came out, as it was meant for a lovely person.
