Watercolor Flowers...Using Stamps

I love the look of watercolor flowers, don't you? But unlike the great water colorist, I can not use a brush, water and color. But what I can do is use images from my stamp collection.

Take a stamp set, some ink pads, and water...bam you can create a beautiful card that looks like you learned to paint from the greats.

The card I show today, is just that. I took the retiring stamp set Blooms & Wishes, along with a couple of new ink colors, and created a lovely card.

I think this would be lovely on a scrapbook page too. In the corners, with a black and white picture...ohhhhh I need to make that!!!

I ended up making 4 cards using this technique, and I plan on giving them out to co-workers for Mother's day.

Here are the dimensions for the card:

Card Base - 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, scored at 4 1/4...or the opposite like I did on the video.
Mat - 5 3/8 x 4 1/8
Watercolor Cardstock or Shimmery White - 5 1/4 x 4

I even put a little video together to show you how I created the area for the sentiment.
