Petal Passion Meets Brusho

One of my favorite product suites from the 2018 Occasions Catalog is Petal Passion.  I especially love the Designer Series Paper, featured in yesterday's blog post, as am I a black and white fan.  I think black is such a classy color, hence "the little black dress".

But for this card, I wanted to concentrate on the Stamp Set and Thinlet bundle.  And add some of our new product, Brusho!!  

I have never worked with Brush, and it's been exciting to learn how use this magical dust.  I used the Brusho as backdrop for my flowers, and then added a little Old Olive with the Stampin' Blend Marker.

I used the little bits from the diecut and scattered them around the card.  Hey, I'm a scrapper at heart and try not to waste, lol.  My friends say I keep way to many "scraps".

I added some softness and texture to the card, by adding vellum against the darkness of the card-base and behind the "trellis" die cut.  Stampin' Up! has some great vellum, it's thick than other vellum's yet looks the same.

Pacific Point Cardstock - for the card-base (4 1/4 x 11, scored at 5 1/2)

Watercolor Paper (cut at 2 x 3)

Vellum Cardstock (cut at 1 1/2 x 4 1/4)

Pacific Point Classic Stampin' Pad - for sentiment and dot's stamp (stamped once, gradually stamped up the card to right above the vellum)

Old Olive Stampin' Blends Markers Combo Pack

Scrap of Old Olive for Leaf Diecut, Whisper White for Sentiment Diecut

Scrap of Champagne Foil Sheet for "trellis" die cut

Brusho Crystal Colour - I used the Prussian Blue
