Purple Birthday

I love being a demonstrator for Stampin' Up! for a few reasons, but the best part is meeting other paper crafters.  I have also met some amazing demonstrators throughout the world, and two of them had birthdays in January.

My "New Year, New Goal" mantra for the year has me sending out the birthday cards I make to actual humans, instead of staying in the box.

I started in January with sending cards to anyone who wanted one, and during their birthday month they would receive FREE shipping from the Ladybug.  I have also made it a goal to send to my downline and friends.

This birthday card I sent to one of the lovely Australian demonstrators I have met.   She has helped, and talked with me about our business.  Sometimes I take the advice she gives, sometimes well I still listen.  We laugh and enjoy each others company, through Facebook Messenger.

I created this, with her in mind, all in dark colors as she loves black like I do. I added a little whisper white to brighten up the card.

She finally received the card yesterday, it takes a long time to hop over the ocean because I sent the card 2 weeks ago.  But I am glad she liked it, and it was still her birthday month, so that counts...right?!

This is one of my favorite cards I have made, I really love the contrast of the white against all the dark.
