Retiring Stamp Highlight - Music & Daisies

This past Sunday I made a card on Facebook Live, featuring a retiring stamp from the 2019 Stampin' Up! Occastions catalog. This has become my new day to create live with my friends on my Facebook Page, Ladybug Stampin. I am calling it Sunday Funday Cardmaking.

Sunday afternoon has just become the best day for me to create and go live, come join us for the next one.

This retiring stamp set I used was Sheet Music, and I combined it with Daisy Delight (which is carrying over). Disclaimer, I used these stamps to create my first ever memory dex card, that I sent to my friend Mary. I wanted to show that you can take your design and make it into couple of projects. So I used the design from my memory dex to create an A4 Card.

I forgot to take a better picture before mailing.

I love love love Gerber daisies, and the red I decided to use just seemed to work. I stamped the image using Basic Gray, prior to punching out.

The vellum pieces, using a diecut from a retiring set Petals & More, acted as my "baby's breath". And I think added a nice touch.

Oh and I added a little ladybug friend.

3rd Annual Catalog Launch BINGO - Stampin' Style

I will be hosting BINGO Stampin' Style again this year!! This game/get together has been such a success for each of my catalog launch party themes, I wanted to play again.

I will holding this event in June to celebrate the new 2019-2020 Annual Catalog.

A perk of attending my BINGO launch party is BOGO!!

Oh what is BOGO you ask?? I will have a listing of my retired items, for you to look over. For every dollar you purchase from my online store during "BINGO Week", you will be able to select something from my retired listing. More info on our special Facebook Group.

I will also have a few projects on display showcasing new and returning products from the 2018-2019 Catalog.

You will want to Save the Date and get your $30 Registration fee in ASAP to save your spot
Fee includes Bingo games, 4 make and takes, and a Swag Bag of current product from the new Stampin' Up! Annual catalog! Including a brand NEW Stamp Set!! Which you will receive for free!!! I will have PDF's of the 4 projects for you to use later.
Each game will have brand new products as the prizes!
You will receive two BINGO cards, which will be mailed to you along with Swag Bag, and make n take essentials.
Extra BINGO cards can be purchased for $3 each, or 2 for $5. All money collected for extra BINGO boards will be used as part of the Grand Prize!
4 BINGO games will be played.
The 5th and Final Bingo Game will be a black out, the first one to black out an entire BINGO card will win the GRAND PRIZE!!!

Retiring Stamp Highlight - Southern Serenade

I am highlighting another stamp set that will be retiring at the end of May, or while supplies last, Southern Serenade.

I used the flower image from the stamp set, and decided to give my Stampin' Blends a play. I used Versmark and black embossing powder to stamp the image onto some Whisper White cardstock. FYI...use embossing buddy to remove static from cardstock prior to applying image. Then I colored in the image, trying to use a highlight technique. Night of Navy on the flowers, and Old Olive on the leaves.

Let me say I am not the best of blending, but these Stampin' Blends help me out.

I took some Night of Navy, and sponged the edges roughly as seen in photo. I added some dimensionals to the back and adhered to card base.

On the card base, I stamped the small flower image in black.

I stamped "Happy Birthday", in Night of Navy, and punched out with circle punch, placed a dimensional on the lower bottom and added some metallic thread in loops behind. Then placed on bottom right corner of stamped flower image.

This is a simple card that even a beginner could make.

Simple but elegant for a lovely ladies birthday!
