Today though we are going to concentrate on the guts of the card, aka the inside mechanism.
Cut a piece of cardstock to 9 x 3 1/2 (pool party in video tutorial)
You want to score that at 4 1/2, 6 1/4, and finally 8. You will need to fold at the 4 1/2 score line, to resemble a card base fold. Then fold the 6 1/4 score line back the other way. Then 8 gets folded like the first score line. This will create a valley, mountain, valley on the card. Almost like a Z fold with an extra flap.
I am not good at writing tutorials, I would suggest watching the video for the rest. I don't want to waste your paper on my bad explanation.
