Ladybug Stampin: Vlogtober Day 14 - Crafting with the Bug

I have had a light bulb moment! Besides stamping to create cards and scrapbook pages, I also love to just craft. You know with other items other than paper and ink, I know it's a shocking confession. But I must nonetheless.

I had not realized how much I had missed crafting, with other medias, until I started back up recently. I am redoing my home decor and making the look more cohesive.

Yes I am going FARMHOUSE!!

Actually, it's a look I have loved for years. I am a farm girl at heart, even though I live in town, not a city, but an actual little place on the map.

Back to my light bulb moment, I have decided to showcase these crafts on a weekly basis on Sunday's. It will be titled Crafting with the Bug!!

What will this entail? Who knows, I don't even at this point. I do love spray paint and changing the look of items. Plus I love making items as gifts.

Some days, you may even get to see my hubby with his knowledge of power tools and wood.

And at times, I will use Stampin' Up! products when I can, I love marrying my two loves together.

Let's get on with this weeks crafty project!!

I found some pumpkins through another vlogger, The Daily DIYer. She had found them from the creator Mary Berry Boutique.

So I ran to my computer, well actually I was already there....so I typed really fast to her Facebook page, and placed my order for a set of 5.

I knew that I wanted to use the Stampin' Up! Buffalo Check stamp on these pumpkins, and I was hoping it would work. Well did it ever, I am really pleased with this pumpkin garland for my fall decor.

First, the pumpkins needed some chalkpaint (this was by accident actually) then I stamped my image. This was a little easier than painting on the buffalo check design.

I added a leaf from the Detailed Leaves thinlets, and a little rope. And that's it!
