Pop of Color - Christmas Challenge Stampathon April 2018

This past Wednesday was April 25th, which means it's time for another Christmas Challenge Stampathon project.  Yes I am a few days late, we were moving and I was under the weather.  Double whammy, but I am finally creating again.

This month's challenge is to create four, if not more, Christmas cards with a twist.  Black, White and a pop of color.  I loved this challenge, B&W is my favorite color combo.

What is Christmas Callenge Stampathon?

Do you find yourself scrambling to get your Christmas cards out in December?  Make creative tags for your packages?  Gift and Treat bags? Home Decor?

Well, a group of talented demonstrators and myself have decided to collaborate to help, all of us, not to feel rushed in December.

It's called the Christmas Challenge Stampathon 2018!!!  There is even some prizes involved, yay!!!

Who can participate? What is it? How do I join?

Everyone is welcome to join in the Challenge, including demonstrators.  You are encouraged to share with your customers.

This is a collaboration between Stampin' Up! Demonstrators in the US, UK and Australia.

Everyone is welcome to join in the Challenge.

The Challenge will be set on the 25th of the month on each of the organizers Facebook pages and will then have followup information on their blogs and YouTube channels.

The deadline for submission is 11pm on the 24th of the following month in your respective time zone.

And don't worry if you don't have any Christmas stamp set's yet, you can use just about any stamp set.

This is my April submission, using Emerald Envy as the pop of color choice.  This In-Color, that's retiring at the end of May (or supplies last), is a great color for Christmas projects.

Card Measurements (supplies used at end of blog post):

Whisper White Cardstock 4 1/4 x 11, scored at 5 1/2
Basic Black Cardstock 3 3/4 x 5
Emerald Envy Cardstock 5 1/8 x 3 7/8
Scrap Whisper White for Sentiment

I have created a video on how to create the card, including the embossing color.
