Coffee Cup Treat Box or is it a Planter??

In getting ready for my first craft fair as a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, I have come found some great ideas.

One of them was the Coffee Cup Treat Holder, which I made several of.  But then I thought, how can I make this a little diverse?  Oh why not a planter, with seeds....wouldn't that be a great Christmas present for the avid gardener??

Check out my YouTube below for a few more versions.

Measurements & Supplies for the holder, including links to Online Shopping:

Old Olive Cardstock - Cut a 2 1/2" x 11" strip of cardstock. Score at 3/4", 3 1/4", 4" and 6 1/2".

2" circle punch - Use to punch a center hole in between the 3/4" and 3 1/4" score marks. This is the hole your cup will sit in. Save the 2" punched out circle for use later.

Fold score lines in, bringing the bottom 3/4" flap to be glued to the back side large flap. This will form the cup holder. Adhere with fast fuse or liquid glue.

Cut a strip of 1/2" x 6" Old Olive cardstock. Wrap it around the cup and glue the ends together in the back. - This will be used for the seed packet in front (or gift card)

Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper - for wrap around cup, the template - I cut one of the cups and then cut the top and bottom thick pieces. (see video please) - for the strip on front of holder 2 3/8 x 5/8"

Daisy Punch & Stamp Set Bundle - I stamped and punched two Daisy's in Crumb Cake Stampin' Ink.
Cut both daisy's, by removing the 3 petals and than layer alternately, add dimensionals on back and adhere to 2" circle cut earlier (add sentiment first though).

1/2" Circle Punch & Softly Falling Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Early Espresso Cardstock - take a 1" strip (any length longer than 3/4") emboss, than punch out a circle for the "black eye"

Teeny Tiny Wishes Clear Mount - "Just For You" sentiment

For top of lid -
1 3/4" Circle Punch - punch out of scrap Old Olive Cardstock
1 1/2" Circle Punch - punch out of scrap Delight Daisy DSP
