Embossed Silhouette

I am part of a group of paper crafters that are on a Periscope Crafting Train every Friday Night.  I try to show a technique during these, while showcasing Stampin’ Up! product. Sometimes I know what I want to show and other times I am running on empty due to life.

***Periscope – Live Streaming App, that you can now view on your computer.***

This past Friday, was one of the latter so I had to come up with a quick card yet effective.  This has worked for me, maybe a few times in the past.  But this week I delivered a great card, or so I was told.

I was inspired by a piece of art I found on Pinterest, that had nothing to do with paper crafting. I love to look through the web, find a piece of art, a print from a rug or clothing, and many other things.
So I digress, on to the card….I love this silhouette, which is embossed with silver on a wood grain background.

I even had to create another card to finish off the DSP (Designer Series Paper), and some more embossing.

The recipe, and supplies I used:

First Card –
8 ½ x 5 ½ Early Espresso Cardstock, Scored at 4 ¼
5 ¼ x 4 Whisper White Cardstock, this will be for inside of card
5 ¼ x 4 Silver Foil Sheet
5 1/8 x 3 7/8 Wood Textures DSP Paper Stack 6 x 6
Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder
Colorful Seasons Stamp Set (used the larger tree limb, 3 large flowers, “Just Breath” sentiment)
Embossing Buddy
Heat Tool
Versamark
Stampin’ Trimmer

Second Card -
