Ladybug BINGO After Party

Wow!!! I had the best time at this years BINGO (catalog launch) party!!

I am grateful and blessed beyond measure to have such lovely friends who just happen to be customers.

This year I did a few things different. And I believe it made a world of difference for my online attendees.

I created a Ladybug BINGO group, 2 weeks ahead of party date.  We played games, uploaded product videos, and just had fun conversing.  Plus they got the first look at my BOGO list.  Don't worry they didnt get it all, there is plenty for July Sale.

I also present their goodie bags along with a treat, and their make n take supplies.

Here are a few comments from the attendees:

Tamala Owens - Not only was I gifted/sponsored, the opportunity to play in the Bingo. Which I am so thankful for. I had so much fun playing the games before the Bingo day. Then I received such a nice goody bag with my bingo cards. Stamp set, 4 make and take cards, the pens and all the trimmings for the cards and even a snack! Then Bingo day You made the day so much fun! Door prizes, there were so many! Then the bingo games themselves! It was a lot of fun! I had a blast! Thank you !

Daylene Strickland - I am just getting back on late. Boy, I never knew playing bingo was so tiring! I felt exhausted afterwards! Glad I’m not the only one. I can’t imagine how tired Denise must be! She needs a week off!  😂. I had so much fun.
I’m enjoying being part of a group of stampers. I don’t know anyone near me that stamps, so it is a joy to share and learn. Thank you!

Jill Lukas ·This was so much Fun!! Can't wait for the next one!! You're an Awesome Game Hostess!! 😉😊

I had not just BINGO prizes but also door prizes, or as I love call them "Prize Patrol".  I made sure that even if you didn't win one of 9 BINGO prizes, you walked away with a door prize or two!  Door prizes ranged in price, I even made accessory packs..which they loved!

Let me say that last year we only played 4 games, due to number of attendees...but this year I had 17!!!  So I decided to add more BINGO games.

I will posting videos, as well as blog posts, of our 4 make n takes during the week.  But here is a sneaky peak....and the first card we made is down below :)

I loved that the ladies, made their cards during our Live creative time, and then showed pictures on the group.

And one of the ladies won "3" times!!! Including the grand prize!!

Jill won a Stamparatus, 8 new ink pads (new colors), 5 Stampin Blends, Ribbon, Shammy, and 2 stamps sets in total!!

Some of the other Prizes included stamp sets, Stampin' Up! Trimmer and Scoring Tool, ink pads, blends, watercolors, and more.

I am looking forward to the Holiday Catalog Launch Party!!  I already have people asking when it will be and can they join!  Of course, the more attendees the more prizes to giveaway!!

I have not decided if I will do BINGO again or just draw names.  I know we will be making 4 cards, and one 3d project. If you would like to join us keep an eye out for that announcement in August, as the Holiday catalog debuts in September.  And since Jill already has a Stamparatus, we have decided to put that back in the prize pile for next time...she will be getting $49 worth of product instead.

Here is Prize Central...

I love Prize Patrol!!

Here is the first card we created live during the party.

Texture - Christmas Challenge Stampathon 2018

Hello all!!  What a month June has been for me, this past weekend I had my catalog launch party, or better known as Ladybug Bingo Stampin Style.  I will post more about this tomorrow, but for now today is the 25th of the month.  What does that mean?  It's time for another Christmas Challenge Stampathon theme.

What is Christmas Callenge Stampathon?

Do you find yourself scrambling to get your Christmas cards out in December?  Make creative tags for your packages?  Gift and Treat bags? Home Decor?

Well, a group of talented demonstrators and myself have decided to collaborate to help, all of us, not to feel rushed in December.  I have their links below, for you to view their projects as well.

It's called the Christmas Challenge Stampathon 2018!!!  There is even some prizes involved, yay!!!

Who can participate? What is it? How do I join?

Everyone is welcome to join in the Challenge, including demonstrators.  You are encouraged to share with your customers.

This is a collaboration between Stampin' Up! Demonstrators in the US, UK and Australia.

Everyone is welcome to join in the Challenge.

The Challenge will be set on the 25th of the month on each of the organizers Facebook pages and will then have followup information on their blogs and YouTube channels.

The deadline for submission is 11pm on the 24th of the following month in your respective time zone.

And don't worry if you don't have any Christmas stamp set's yet, you can use just about any stamp set.

For June's challenge we would like for you to create 4 projects but they must have some texture.  You can make cards, tags, bags, decor, or even a scrapbook pages.

I love this months challenge!!  You all know I love black and white, and yes while that may not be traditional Christmas colors, it's what I like.  And besides, who says red and green are the only Christmas colors?  I mean Jesus was born in a stable, surrounded by sand...not evergreens!

See how I did that?! Yes I am smiling as I write that, but it is the truth now that I really think about it.

Here is my submission for this month....

I love our boxwood wreaths, it was perfect for what I needed.  And the addition of our sparkly embossing paste as snow made me long for a cold winter's day....on the television that is!  Yes I am a southern girl at heart and love my warmer winters.  But I do love to see snow falling from the sky, on occasion.

Male Card, Just Because or Sympathy Card

I am loving some of the new stamp sets, and with Fathers Day this weekend I needed to make a card quick!

During my weekly Make A Card Monday over on Periscope (live streaming app), I made this card.  I love the sentiment, which you could use on any card for that someone special.

My father passed on this life about 16 years ago, and this time of year especially.  Because literally he taught me everything I know, and how I act...well for the most part LOL

He was my father and mother, he was there as I was growing into a young lady.  And he tried his best to explain to me the changes, even bringing out a dictionary to explain the big change in a young girls life.  I look on those times now and smile, sometimes even laughing at how he went on to describe what was happening.  Luckily we were at my Aunt's house and I made a desperate call to her, she laughed and said I will be right there.

My daddy loved the mountains with all the natural beauty that our creator created, he had even thought about having his ashed spread over the Rockies, in Colorado.

I made this card with him in mind.  I had saw an art piece with trees with different colors, and it stuck in my head.  The Rooted in Nature has the perfect pine trees that I needed to create a handmade card, using my inspiration as a guide.

I wanted to keep the card pretty simple, so I only added a bit of twine towards the bottom of the card. Sometimes it's hard for me to make male inspired cards, but with this stamp set I see lots of cards now.

During filming of this card, I had to start over 3 times.  So I have multiple sentiments to showcase this technique.

This be a great male birthday card, or even a "just because"

And sometimes we need the hardest card to create, for the passing of a loved one.

I love this card, so I am not too upset that I have 4 cards to send out.

Here are the measurements for this card, products are listed below:

Card Base - Tranquil Tide 4 1/4 x 11, scored at 5 1/2
Mat - Crumb Cake 4 1/8 x 5 3/8
Watercolor Paper - 4 x 5 1/4

And I have a video, one day I might make a simple post with out a video!!

I would love to see your creations using this technique, please share over on my Facebook group Ladybug Stampin Spot.
